Custom Card Templates Map Support

The cards on this page are templates designed to generate custom card configurations specifically for use with the Dreame Vacuum integration. Each card template on this page may require a different custom card installation.

Rooms card

The Rooms card is designed to gather and manage all the multiple customized cleaning setting entities generated by the integration for each room in a single card using the Config Template Card and Multiple Entity Row custom cards.

To generate the complete card configuration from this template, the Home Assistant Template Editor is utilized.

If manual navigation is required, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Developer Tools panel in Home Assistant.
2. Select the Template tab from the top menu.
3. Paste the template code provided below into the left-hand editor pane.
4. Copy the resulting YAML output generated in the right-hand Result pane.
5. Paste the generated output into the Lovelace card configuration.

IMPORTANT

Make sure to replace the vacuum. placeholder in the {% set vacuum_entity = "vacuum." %} line with your actual vacuum entity ID before using the template.

Cleaning History Card

The Cleaning History card is designed to render maps of past cleaning jobs using the Button Card custom card. A dropdown menu located at the top of the card allows for the selection and viewing of the map for a specific past job.

Obstacles Card

The Obstacles card is designed to display photos of obstacles detected by the robot during the last cleaning job using the Button Card custom card. A dropdown menu located at the top of the card lists the detected obstacles ordered from newest to oldest based on detection order, along with the name of the room where each obstacle was found. Additionally, obstacles can be manually ignored or un-ignored directly from this card, provided they are not dynamically ignored by the system.

Map Recovery Card

The Map Recovery card is designed to display historical states of the selected saved map and provides a button to restore the map to a previous state using the Button Card custom card. Depending on the robot model, 3 or 4 map backups are available for restoration. A dropdown menu lists these backups, displaying both the time of modification and the backup type.

WiFi Map Card
