This project is a community-developed custom integration for Home Assistant and is not part of the built-in Core integrations. It must be installed separately. A running Home Assistant instance is required prior to proceeding.
WARNING
Rendering the live map can consume a significant amount of memory, especially for large maps. This may cause Home Assistant to crash due to out of memory errors. Memory usage can be reduced by enabling the Low Resolution Map setting in the configuration options.
The My Home Assistant integration is used throughout this documentation for easy navigation. It is enabled by default if your Home Assistant uses default_config:. If not, you must manually add my: to your configuration.yaml file to use the shortcut buttons provided in this guide.
