This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and handle your data when you use this documentation site. This site does not sell anything, requires no account, and does not collect any personal data beyond the anonymous analytics described below.

1. Who We Are

This documentation is maintained by Tasshack, an independent developer. For any privacy-related question or request, contact support@tasshack.com.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect your name, physical address, browsing history, or any other personal data. The only data collected is anonymous, aggregated site-usage analytics, described in Section 4.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): processed only based on your consent, given via the cookie notice. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the Cookie Preferences button in the bottom right corner of the screen. (Your consent choice is saved on .tasshack.com and applies across all our related subdomains).
• Self-hosted anonymous analytics: processed under our legitimate interest in understanding site usage, limited to non-identifying, aggregated statistics as described in Section 4.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We operate two sites — dv.tasshack.com (this one) and dvc.tasshack.com — both maintained by the same developer and using the same analytics setup. The cookies below are set on .tasshack.com, so they are shared by both sites: a cookie choice you make on one applies to the other, and you are not asked for consent twice.

Set without consent, because they only remember a choice you made yourself:

• dv_c — records the choice you made in the cookie notice, so you are not asked again.
• dv_t — remembers whether you chose light or dark appearance. Only written when you use the appearance toggle.
• dv_l — remembers your language preference. Set from your browser's own language setting on your first visit, and updated whenever you switch languages.

Set only after you accept the cookie notice (via Analytics category):

• Google Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. If you reject them, these are not set.
• dv_u — a random, non-identifying ID used by our self-hosted analytics to count returning visitors more accurately.

We also use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool. By default it uses no cookies and stores no personal data — it records only anonymous, aggregated visit statistics (such as page views, country, and browser) using a non-persistent identifier that is re-generated daily and cannot be used to identify you. That part runs regardless of your cookie choice; the dv_u cookie described above is the only piece of it that requires your consent.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not track you across websites we do not operate. Because our cookies are set on .tasshack.com, they are readable by both of our own sites; they are never shared with third-party advertising networks.

5. Your Rights

Since this site collects no identifiable personal data, most data-subject requests do not apply here. You still have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time for analytics cookies, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your data has been mishandled.
